JCF Nonprofit Resource Center

Community foundations are grantmaking public charities that are dedicated to improving the lives of people in a defined local geographic area. They bring together the financial and non-monetary resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support effective nonprofits in their communities and play a key role in addressing community challenges.

Through our Nonprofit Resource Center, JCF works with our community of local nonprofits each year to strengthen their operations and collective impact by:

    • Providing effective and responsive support and resources to build nonprofit capacity
    • Developing and nurturing relationships and dynamic networks to amplify collective impact
    • Maintaining a working and emergent knowledge of community issues and opportunities
    • Engaging in listening and dialogue to help develop organizational and community strategy
    • Helping to sustain, nurture, and galvanize a community of changemakers
“Because of our relationship with JCF, we are more connected and coordinated with community efforts throughout our County. JCF has helped us grow into a better, more effective organization, and we appreciate everything they do for our community.”
