AI Tools for Nonprofits

June 25 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Free

What: AI Tools for Nonprofits

When: Thursday, June 25th, 3:30-5pm. 60 minutes of content with 30 minutes for Q&A.

Where:  Jefferson Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Resource Center

Who:  For organizational leaders, staff and Board members of Jefferson County nonprofit organizations

A practical follow-up to April’s Empowered & Ethical AI panel. We’ll cover three things, and you’ll leave with reusable tools for each.

Organization profile. Build a single file that captures who your organization is. Drop it into any AI conversation and the AI starts already knowing you. Useful for board reports, donor communications, planning documents, and every other AI task where context about your organization matters.

Grant writing. A complete workflow demonstrated live, from researching the funder to drafting and tightening the final sections. You’ll leave with reusable prompts your team can run on every grant application going forward.

Data privacy. A free tool that strips identifying details from spreadsheets on your own computer, before any data ever leaves your machine. Plus a Data Sensitivity Quick Card and a fill-in AI Policy Template to set clear rules with your team.

Honest conversation throughout about what’s working, what isn’t, where to start, and how to think about funder expectations as AI use becomes more common.

60 minutes of content with 30 minutes for Q&A. Thursday, June 25th, 3:30-5pm at JCF

Presenter: Jared Jenkins of Cavallo Nero, an AI solutions consultancy that serves the Olympic Peninsula and seeks to lift local organizations and increase capacity with practical AI knowledge and tools.

This workshop is free and offered for organizational leaders, staff and Board members of Jefferson County nonprofit organizations.
